ABOUT MORGAN REID

MEET MORGAN

“I’m Morgan, a twenty-something who recently graduated from the University of South Carolina and relocated my life to Washington D.C. Nine to five I work in  the techy SEO marketing world, but after hours I can’t wait to plug away on my blog and get creative juices flowing. Outside of the office, you’ll find me reading up on web design, hanging out with my too-cute puppy, Tilly (below), browsing Craigslist for a furniture steal, or tracking down the perfect margarita in DC.”

REIDMORE 101

“My blog, Reidmore, was created in 2011 after I had just moved to Washington DC after graduating from college. In a new town, not knowing a soul, and starting my first job, I was yearning for a creative outlet. I saw blogging as a way to share my life updates with my family and college friends spread across the country & saw this as an opportunity to meet friends with similar interests in my new hometown. Soon my life updates, graphic design projects, travel reports, and well… posts about spending too much money on too many pretty things quickly filled up the pages of this online, public, and very personal lifestyle diary.

As a new resident of the District of Columbia, it’s been quite the adventure getting to know the city and its residents. From taste testing the best bottomless brunches the city has to offer, shopping the streets of Georgetown, day tripping to Charlottesville for winery visits, and even scoping out the the best hidden gem in the city – the National Arboretum – I’m already in love with all that the city has to offer.

I’m always open to collaborating with other bloggers and brands, and would love to hear from you! Shoot me an email, seriously.

Best,

Morgan Reid

Hi Morgan, love your blog 🙂 I was researching how to design studio apartments because that is likely what I’ll be moving into in DC this summer and that’s how I came across your blog. How do you like your space so far?

    • Thanks for the note! Loving the small studio space so far, for just 1 person it’s the perfect size. Good luck with your move! 🙂
